Costco is hiring for a Work Comp/Integrated Leave Consultant specializing in Workers Compensation. Position will be located in the Issaquah, WA, Costco’s Corporate Office. Costco is a leader in the warehouse club and retail industry with locations in 44 states. Costco offers best in class health and disability benefits, paid time off, 401k benefits and a free Costco membership Job duties of the Integrated Leave Consultant include; providing direction to TPA’s on complex workers’ compensation claims in multiple jurisdictions, engaging in extensive telephone communications with locations and vendors regarding policy and claims, conducting claim reviews with TPA and Costco locations, creating and communicating new policies, programs and procedures as well as creating and delivering training. Costco has an integrated leave model for occupational and non-occupational disability, workers’ compensation leave and accommodation programs. The successful candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience managing lost time workers’ compensation claims for a TPA or self-administered employer and the ability to pass competency requirements for ADA/FMLA issues within 6 months. PHR, CPDM Certification or WWCP preferred.

2017 Annual Meeting and Educational Conference

Our 2017 Annual Meeting and Educational Conference was a tremendous success. We had 400 workers' compensation professionals in attendance, and our Exhibitor and Sponsor opportunities sold out well in advance of the conference.

CSIA will return to the Disneyland Hotel in Anaheim, CA for our 2018 Annual Meeting and Educational Conference. The conference will be held on March 19 - 20, 2018. If you want to know what is on the radar for the largest California employers, this conference is a must.
